Wishing all new customers and old friends a Happy New Year from all the team here at The Crooked House.

Well what can I say, our new 'seasonal' menu is released but with over 40 years experience between us all we have all been baffled by this 'season' which has caused some delay in our menu change. We are STILL picking ripening tomatoes from our plants!

It has been these lack in seasonal changes as well as some supply issues that we have struggled to change our menu (what IS seasonal at the moment?).However we have changed our menu and a little of our ethos as we have downsized our restaurant menu but are:

1. providing a greater offering throughout with more options in 'The Pub' with a bit more cohesion and

2. Offering more 'complex' dishes in the restaurant.

 We will also be offering a table d' jour menu from January for that sense of occasion and also for those that wish to put there faith in our dining experience?

Another couple of changes are that we are offering more value for lunch and Sundays where we have now extended our set course lunch menus for that added value.

We are also now offering soup, our new 'on toast range and sandwiches across the board throughout the Pub.

 And we are not only here to offer good food we hope to offer a good drinks offering with locally produced ales and we regularly feature guest ales for the thirsty traveler that you can enjoy with a freshly made  sarnie from our snacks menu.

We are always trying to improve and reinvest our monies to improve, we have recently invested in new kitchen equipment, new function chairs, marquee, family landscaped gardens and we will soon see the Wedding garden's landscaping come to fruition.

We regularly listen to feedback from our customers which always has an impact on menus and if you have some constructive advice please let us know
