Please note that during main service periods booking by phone may be difficult as we are a little busy, we will endeavour to answer your calls however.

We do have an answer phone where enquiries may be left however please note they are only enquiries and unless we can confirm bookings with you nothing can be guaranteed.

Although we do not take bookings by email we can deal with your enquiries and respond at the end of each evening.

 

Our Booking Policies

 

Please note the following policies are applicable to our Restaurant bookings:

 

Bookings are taken during allocated time slots to ensure we can deal with all customers appropriately.

Table reservations will be held for 30 minutes before being released.

Bookings which do not attend at the booked time could be liable to a wait where other booked tables are dealt with.

 

Bookings of more than 4 persons are subject to £5 per person deposit which unfortunately is non-refundable should persons not attend.

This deposit will be retained should a person not attend a booked table. Should all attend this deposit will be deducted from your bill.

 

Please note that during busy periods and weekends admittance to our restaurant is dependant on ordering from our main menu - sides are available in our pub.

Lunch - starters and desserts may be ordered singularly

Dinner - main meals must be ordered

 

Large bookings in excess of 15 persons can only be taken at the end of service and are subject to a pre-order being taken a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the attendance.

Parties of 10 or more are required to place a pre-order or would have a restricted menu choice -Table D' Hote Menu or roasts where applicable available only.

Parties in excess of 20 people will be subject to a final 20% large booking fee which is placed on the final bill.

(Please note that waiting periods for large parties is ultimately longer to ensure all food reaches you at its best)

 

SUNDAY BOOKINGS

Bookings for Sundays are subdivided

Roast bookings or a la carte bookings

 

Availability for these two menus is different as availability for our roast menu is more readily available and dealt with much more swiftly than our a la carte bookings.

 

Roast bookings have an allocated time slot of 1 1/2 hours and will have a choice of either of our Sunday Roasts which always include Staffordshire turkey, roast topside of beef and slow roast shoulder of pork.

A la carte bookings may still choose from our roast menu should they wish to on the day however be aware that availability of bookings for a la carte bookings is more restrictive with less booking availability.

All bookings may be subject to 'Relayed' tables which although we endeavour to ensure your table is ready we are at the mercy of the days events and the possibility of delays may occur.

 

Our new Al Fresco Dining is now available however bookings taken for this area are obviously subject to weather conditions and unless stated tables inside may not be available in the event of poor weather conditions dependant on bookings.

 

All bookings are at the discretion of all staff members.
